In line with our company values, we provide eligible Local Charities, Sports Clubs, Education institutions, Government, Councils, environmental companies and any Not for Profit organisations with free use to SoWhat'sLocal.

We provide an exciting real time information system to our business and personal members. Businesses and individuals using SoWhat'sLocal will select a local charity or not for profit organisation to be the recipient of a share of the profits generated by their use of the website.

Eligible Charities and Not for Profit organisations receive free use of this website and may also register for the profit sharing scheme.

Full Page of Content

As a Charity / Not for Profit member of SoWhat'sLocal, you will have a full page of text and images to promote your organisation online. You will receive a URL (website address) for your page of content which you may provide to your customers / members should your organisation not have a website of its own.  

Profit Share

We provide a share of the profits generated by Business and Personal members to the charity or not for profit organisation of their choice. When you register your eligible Charity or Not for Profit organisation with SoWhat'sLocal and provide deposit details, your organisation may be selected by Business and Personal members as their chosen recipient.

Projects

Most people would like to support worthy causes but not all can afford to donate money. SoWhat'sLocal allows eligible Charities and Not for Profit organisations to register projects requiring assistance. SoWhat'sLocal then acts as the link between willing volunteers and community projects requiring help.

Events and Promotions

As a Charity / Not for Profit member of SoWhat'sLocal you will be able to register unlimited events for your organisation free of charge. Mobile Phone SMS capability

All information in SoWhat'sLocal can be accessed from a standard mobile phone using SMS. There is more information about how this works in our frequently asked questions however, as an example, if your organisation has a regular event such as a monthly committee meeting, all members could receive a reminder SMS before the meeting.

Rating

Our rating system ensures that people are pro-active in their reviews. Having an anonymous rating system helps you to fine tune your place in the community.
